2. Before the internet was invented it was much harder for people to communicate. You were not able to just get on facebook, or your email, you had to call them on a telephone or send them a letter. Most kids dont realize this because they have had the internet around their whole life.
The internet can be used as a very useful source in todays society. There are many web pages thoughout the internet that can be used for informational reasons. Now days the internet enables kids to just simply look up something on the internet for a report rather than go to a libray and look information up in a book.
Though the internet is a very helpful resource, it can be harmful as well. Social networks such as facebook, myspace, and instant messaging is a way for kids to interact with each other through the internet.Cyber bullying is when a child is bullyed through social networks. Cyber bullying is a major problem in todays society. It has let to many suicides and law cases.
1. One day after hanging out with my friend his mom was on her way to pick us up. When she pulled up I noticed she had not had her hands on the steering wheel. I got in the car and when all the doors were shut the car started to move on its own taking us back to my house. I had never seen or heard of a car like this but was in awe.
That night when I got home I saw a big robot in my kitchen and it seemed to be making dinner for me. It already had all the plates out and everything. I was terrified and ran up to my room. IT had occured to me that all this could not be happening. I was sure I was dreaming.
I saw a newspaper on my bed and went to look at it. It had all kinds of things about robots and computers. I looked at the date and it read April 24, 2085. I had been frozen in time and woken up. It seemed that computers ran everything.
